"Kill Bill" Lives! Uma Thurman Drops Anime and Expanded DVD News

In a complete change of form for Quentin Tarantino, he's actually following through with potential project announcements. A while back he declared that he wanted to make two anime Kill Bill films, one dealing with the Bride, and the other with some much-needed back story for Bill. Now it seems at least one of those projects is happening. The anime project will most likely be about Bill, since Uma Thurman admits to never doing voice work for everybodies favorite limb collector.

Intriguingly, the project may end up in the expanded DVD set which combines both Kill Bill films -- yet another long-awaited production from Tarantino. Count me in as one of those suckers who have been waiting eagerly for this DVD set since the initial DVD releases. At this point though, this expanded set better get released on Blu-ray at the same time; I'm personally not trying to buy any more non-HD releases, and I simply can't wait any longer to own Kill Bill.

No other specifics for either of these projects are known since all of this information is coming off of some casual comments by Thurman. This is Quentin Tarantino people, I'm fairly certain he doesn't experience time at the same rate as us normal humans. Sit tight, and hopefully these projects will release before the next home video format war.
