Part 1 of "Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog" is Now Online!

For those in the dark, Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog is a Joss Whedon directed three-part musical web series starring Neil Patrick Harris and Nathan Fillion. It tells the story of a low-rent super-villain, the hero who keeps beating him up, and the cute girl from the laundromat he’s too shy to talk to.

Act I has just been released, and you can check it out by clicking the image below. Stay tuned for Acts II and III on July 17th and 19th, respectively.

The timing for these could not be better, as they're the perfect distraction to keep fans from tirelessly counting down the minutes until The Dark Knight comes out. And not only is the first episode hilarious (gotta love NPH as a scheming loser supervillain whose costume features massive goggles on his head), but the musical aspects are handled pretty well too, which I have to say I was not expecting.
