Strange Yet Awesome, Arcade Fire Scoring Richard Kelly's "The Box"

While I had mixed opinions Richard Kelly's last film, Southland Tales, which you can hear us discuss on this podcast episode, I was glad to hear that his next film, The Box, seemed to be aiming at a decidedly more mainstream sensibility. Adding to that initial excitement, it appears that Kelly is having the hit Canadian indie-rock band Arcade Fire score the film.

I'm a big fan of the band, and I think their lush and eclectic sound could work well for a film score. If you haven't been exposed to their greatness yet, check out the two videos below.
