Trailer for "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince" is Creepy as Hell

Though Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince may have the most filler of all the books in the series, it's clear from watching this immensely creepy trailer that at least the film adaptation of it will be handled with all the care needed to make it feel like an essential part of the franchise.

Right off the bat we're given a dark and ominous look at a young Tom Riddle, already showing signs of his transformation into Voldemort up ahead. This has been said by many to be the most interesting aspect of the book, so it's wise that the filmmakers are choosing to make it their primary focus. The other central focus of the novel deals with the budding romances between the kids, which hopefully will be cut down some.

If there's a silver lining to this being the most dispensable novel of the series, it's that it'll be easier for the filmmakers to narrow down the most important components, and in turn, make a film that doesn't feel like it's been overstuffed.
