The "Watchmen" Trailer is Here! And it Looks Incredible!

Ready to have your mind blown? I hope so, because the Watchmen trailer is here. And man oh man is it a thing of beauty. This isn't just a teaser, it's a full-blown 2-minute trailer, featuring all your favorite Watchmen characters in action.

UPDATE: Empire appears to be down, likely due to the traffic influx from everyone rushing to see the Watchmen trailer all at once.

I'm curious to hear what more diehard fans of the comic have to say about this trailer. Sure, the visuals and cinematography are stunning, and the quick shots of action definitely look cool, but there's still that issue of translating the story within a 2 hour (or even a 3 hour) runtime.

Let's ignore all that though. There'll be plenty of time to piss and moan about what director Zack Synder (300, Dawn of the Dead) may or may not fuck up later. For now, let's just enjoy the trailer for what it is: an excellent audience introduction to the world of Watchmen.

And remember folks, get to your screening for The Dark Knight on time if you want to re-experience Watchmen's kickass trailer on the big screen.
